OUR ACTIVITIES
SEARCH AND RESCUE IN DIFICULT TERRAIN
We primarily search and rescue injured persons and tourists in the mountainous and forested areas of Börzsöny and Cserhát.
HELP ON AND UNDER WATER
The members of our diving service and our lifeguards rescue people submerged in water, search for and retrieve submerged objects, signs of crime, cars that have rolled into the water, and rescue people on dangerously thin ice.
HELP IN THE AIR AND DOWN UNDER
The members of our alpine technical service rescue and bring to the surface people who have had an accident at height or depth, and also contribute to the prevention of storm damage, the cutting of damaged trees, and the repair of broken roofs.
FIRE FIGHTING AND TECHNICAL RESCUE
The members of our fire service support the work of professional firefighters and participate in the provision of firefighting and technical rescue activities.
FLOOD CONTROL
Our association also gets involved in flood protection, be it sandbag protection, evacuation, pumping out flooded basements or cleaning up the ruins.
MEDICAL SERVICES
Thanks to the work of members of our association with a medical degree, we are now also a medical service provider organization, and based on our license and equipment, we are currently able to provide ambulance insurance for events with foot guards.
URBAN SEARCH AND RESCUE
Following the experience of the earthquake that occurred in Turkey in February 2023, the members of our association started preparing for rescue from the ruins and collapsed buildings, for urban search and rescue (USAR) tasks.
RESCUE DOG SERVICE
Our association's youngest, recently formed specialist group is our rescue dog service, whose members are constantly preparing to pass the exams required by the International Rescue Dog Association, IRO, in order to be able to get involved in search dog tasks as soon as possible.
SECURING EVENTS
Our association contributes to the provision of fire protection and technical rescue insurance tasks for various community and sports events.
