URBAN SEARCH AND RESCUE
Following the experience of the earthquake that occurred in Turkey in February 2023, the members of our association started preparing for rescue from the ruins and collapsed buildings, for urban search and rescue (USAR) tasks. Within this framework, members of our medical service learn how to move between and under the ruins, patient care and rescue, our technical rescue members learn various demolition and wall breaking techniques, and our members with carpentry and scaffolding qualifications practice building supports.
