HELP IN THE HIGH AND DOWN UNDER
Our Alpine Technical Team is responsible for rescues from high and low altitude, providing the necessary personnel and equipment. Our members work in shafts, trenches, gullies, steep slopes, high buildings, pillars, trees, attics and all other places where rope techniques are needed to rescue injured persons, animals and objects. Our alpine team is staffed by mountain and rock climbers, as well as sportsmen and women with caving training, who are at home in steep, high or deep natural environments. Our organisation places great emphasis on their training, which is a long process that can take several years. The members of the team are all qualified as at least industrial alpine technicians, but usually also as industrial alpinists with an OKJ, which gives them the status of an independent professional and, in the case of rescue, the right to be in charge.
In addition to personal protective equipment, we have all the necessary alpine technical equipment required by the national qualification system of the National Directorate General for Disaster Management of the Ministry of the Interior, which we need to carry out rescues from height and depth. These tools are ready to go in a specially equipped vehicle at our base. This vehicle is equipped with, among other things, a winch rescue stand, which can be quickly deployed and makes it very easy to extract people quickly and safely from wells and shafts, but also with stretchers for moving injured people, which can be used for vertical and horizontal rescue.
We acquired our equipment with the support of the National Directorate General for Disaster Management, Ministry of the Interior and the National Cooperation Fund, through tenders and sponsors.
