MEDICAL SERVICES
In any intervention, an injured person may need medical care and first aid, which is a particular challenge in accidents far from populated areas. We believe it is important to provide immediate and professional assistance to those in distress, and we are delighted to see an increasing number of our volunteers who are on call and have a high level of medical expertise.
Our health service is professionally managed and assisted by fellow paramedics, who also provide ongoing training in first aid for all our volunteers.
All our vehicles come with a fully equipped ambulance bag, complemented by a range of stretchers (scoop and shell stretchers), medical oxygen, and endotracheal devices. The equipment of our medical service has been purchased and is continuously improved thanks to grants and sponsors.
